Actually, most of us old-time posters simply had the knowledge implanted in our brains at birth.

I beg to differ. Let''s compare my first post at Gamedev to one of your first posts at Gamedev. Notice how there is a lack of blatant idiocy in my posts and an abundance in yours?

You know, every single one of your posts have been done in the past couple of pages. Asking questions is a good way to find things out when you''re new. You annoy less people if you take a little incentive to find things out on your own. Not trying to flame. Just giving a little advice.
