I''ve just started using Maya PLE and I have a few questions... hopefully someone else here uses it. 1. Is there a way to get rid of the watermark from renders.... why did they have to make it so big and obvious, it totally ruins every image. 2. Can the documentation be downloaded? I can''t seem to find it anywhere on the net.

Purchase Maya.

Thanks for that, really helpful.

That sounds like a great idea!
When I get a bit better at it, I''ll certainly give it a try.

Then you''ll have these big white blocks of MAYA PLE on your image, so don''t think bout using the PLE for any use besides learning the interface.

Easiest way to get rid of the watermark would be to use something like Blender 3D. If that doesn''t work, then try purchasing Maya...

Sorry, those are your only options. PLE is to learn Maya - not for production purposes.

Well, the watermark isn''t a problem anymore when modelling. I''ve gotten so used to it that I don''t even notice it. It still ruins the renders, but it''s fair price to pay to get the opportunity to use Maya.
