I'm messing arround with LUA. How can I make LUA interpret one line at a time, so that i can issue commands into my engine from a separate window? Something like: Show("fps") And lua would interpret it and return some result... Thanks for any tips on this EDIT: Solved :D Jester Says: Visit Positronic Dreams!

I found the solution:

lua_dostring(L, "var=value;");

it will parse and execute your string...
