Have anyone ever built or used a C++ development system that ignores caps (HELLO == hello == Hello)... because I''m so sick of spending an hour debugging just to find I missed the cap off of some var... It is really getting me down

You have two variables of similar type which are different only in that there is a capital letter on one of them? You''re asking for trouble.

Give variables clear and unique names.
I tend to have variables lower case (eg camelCase), functions and classes Capitalised.

Case insensitivity would mean the language you were using was no longer C++. If it''s taking you an hour to find a wrongly named variable, then you need to become better aquainted with your IDE (if you have one).

If you want a case insensitive programming language, try Pascal.
