Using my real name gets either me or the other person who shares my name. There are only two of us in the UK with this name and we both work in game development.

well, I''m fairly certain all three pages on google are me. It used to only be 1 and a half pages, of which only one link on the second page was NOT me.

I was very surpised that someone would quote me

Darn. "Richard Fine" doesn''t appear until the second page... and even then, it gets my SETI profile page before it gets my site. O_o.

I just thought it was possibly the best way I've ever seen that sentiment expressed.

I am somewhat miffed a search on 'fractoid' returns my gamedev.net profile above my (vastly-superior-to-gamedev ) homepage, though... although a search for Quin Pendragon (with or without quotes) returns a scary number of references to me, including my homepage on the top of the stack.

...actually, seven pages into the results, I have yet to find a page that *doesn't* involve me in some way... even this one which is actually by some other guy who shares my name. He mentions me about half way down. Damn this Slime Volleyball thing, I'll never live it down...

Well searching for Monder returns my gamedev profile on the second page and searching for Greg Chadwick (my real name) doesn''t return anything relevant to me (well I''ve only looked within the first few pages). But seeing as I don''t really have a website as such I wasn''t expecting much

seaching for "thesorcerer" at google gives 2 links on the first page. One of them beeing my GDNet profile and the other my website.
Googling for my real name doesn't give any result. A while back it still gave 5 results.

Googling "Apoch" comes up with a crapload of results that aren''t me; the first that IS me is #5, and that''s the only one on page 2 that I know is me. "ApochPiQ" is much better, with 257 results (25 pages, all me). W00t!

My real name turns up 161,000 results. The first one that is me is buried so deep I couldn''t be bothered to find it. Apparently some punk with my name has written several books, plays professional football, and is a musician. I feel like I''ve just been diagnosed with multiple personality disorder.

Aw, what the heck. Googling for "Salsa" brings up these bizarre websites about tomato dip or something.

searching for my nick produces 3 pages. The first page is all about me, the second page has 4 pages that are not about me, and the third page has one result which is mine.

Googling for my real name produces the first two results for me, but a lot of other results not for me. That''s probably because of some game or other named after me.. Baldur''s Gate I think it is .

Heh.. search for my name, "Akinwale Ariwodola" and you get 15 results. All of them belong to me, except result 11, which actually lists my dad''s company (JA ARIWODOLA & CO), and result 15, and I have no idea what that''s all about.
