I''m using Opcode 1.3 and RayCollider and I am attempting to retrieve the face the collision occured. After trying a couple ways, the results were always wrong and produced the wrong collision point. To temporarily get around the problem though, I removed the old test code and simply put this in the _hitCallback function for the RayCollider.
if(hit.mDistance < OgreCollider::dist)
dist = hit.mDistance;
I am able to calculate the collision point using this distance value by doing ray.origin + (ray.direction * distance)
This works great for when I just need the collision point, but for some tests I need to properly get the face vertices within the callback so that I can calculate the collision normal and such.
Anyone have experience using Raycollider with Opcode 1.3 ?
