I am trying to make a skinning program on the GPU. I have written a simple vertex shader (like the NVidia examples). When I implement the program using CG it runs perfect at 85 fps. But when I try to implement it by calling glBindProgram ect that I get framerates of 0.334. So, what I think is that I dont initialize OpenGL correctly for using the vertex program 2 extention (as I need more than the usual 96 parameters). In CG I use the cgGLEnableProfile function with the NV vp3 profile, is there any way I can make it clear to GL that I want that with the normal functions (no CG)? ps. I hope I made myself a bit clear :s
