I''m betting most of you have seen this, but i''m gonna throw it out there just for the hell of it. In case you''re too lazy to open the link, it sorts the states by average iq and makes the ones that voted for bush red and the ones that voted for gore blue. As you could probably guess, all the blue states are on top. The website is less than objective, but the facts are presented accurately.

Although I dislike Bush and would love to believe this, it seems that it''s likely to be inherently biased. More importantly, it''s just not believable.

Note to Republicans: This chart is not as bad as it looks. The correlation of electoral votes to IQ is a loose one. There are many variable that are obviously not included. Connecticut, for example, probably has a significantly higher rating now that George Bush lives in Texas.

The best thing about the internet is the way people with no experience or qualifications can pretend to be completely superior to other people who have no experience or qualifications.

moist people don''t know hte first thing about poluitcs and whats important in the world. if you ask me i think thier should be some kind of voter aptitude test so we don''t get people like arnold scwartinager and george w bush in office simply because thier more popular. united states presidency has turned into nothing more then a popularity contest.

There used to be voter aptitude tests. They were mainly intended to keep blacks from voting. Like it or not, everybody gets to vote.

Its believable, but useless. The site admits that. IQ means nothing in general, and it definately means nothing when considering voting patterns. Its just a random fluke of numbers.

You''re telling me that there''s states in the US where the average IQ is in the mid-80''s? I find that really hard to believe. Granted there''s a lot of morons in the US, but that''s barely high enough for people to walk and chew gum at the same time.

The sad part is, Google knew what you meant.

*edit: It should be noted that Schwarzenegger is a successful businessman, and has participated in politics for years.

Where the hell do they get these statistics, anyway? My parents didn''t take an IQ test when they voted last election.

Schwarzenegger isn''t doing half bad from what i can tell. i agree that people shouldn''t be voted for being popular, but they shouldn''t be shot down because they are either.
