About the book Massively Multiplayer Game Development
I haven''t read it, but iv read the Editor''s short article about MM Architecture in GPG3. Now, i have no wish to make a mmo game, but the design/architecture stuff in that article is similiar what im currently implementing in my own little multiplayer project.
So i was wondering if anyone who have read the book could tell me if it contains more complete info on what he wrote about in his gpg article? And if there is any source examples?
Like:
Actors & Proxy Actors
Message Handling
How to figure out which actors are intrested in whos messages etc.
