I have the Windows Media Player that came with XP Pro (I think it''s 9?). Anyway, for some reason, it doesn''t play all the video files with video (it plays them audio only). This is obviously very frustrating, as IE loads WMP to play various video formats off the Internet. Is there any fix to this problem?

You need to get the right codecs to play the right videos compressed with certain algorithms.

DivX and MPEG-4 are the most common.

Hmm...
I play my movies with Mplayer (Movie Player), which has all the codecs and can view any format.
Any link for where can I get the codecs for WMP?

Use winamp to view movies? You gotta be kidding! It''s the worst program ever to view movies with. Ok, second worse, the first would be notpad.
