I don''t want to sound cruel (well, then again, maybe I do), but I didn''t understand half of what he said. "What kind of persons move around here? What is floorball? Why do we care if your 15 and male? Who doesn''t love pizza?
And about math, DO IT ALL. DO ALL THE MATH THAT YOU CAN GET YOUR FINNISH HANDS ON! I AM SICK AND TIRED ABOUT PEOPLE WONDERING IF THEY SHOULD DO WHAT MATHS! DO THEM ALL! plain and simple, you can not comprehend how much better off you will be if you do advanced math like calculus instead of just ending off with the basics of trig. QUIT WINING ABOUT HAVING TO DO MATH AND DO IT!
Oh yeah, and don''t try to do a 3d game for your first project. DOn''t try to do a 2d platformer. Do a simple text adventure. It doesn''t have to be multiplayer, but the coding experience will be great for you, with debugging and using a bunch of different procedures. Don''t try something flashy, just get used to coding before you try something big.

I think we ought to be able to include more info in our profile, like our fav food, sport, game, age, and other stuff like that. Otherwise we get people posting stuff like this. I know, i know, I''m the one who started the Age Poll thread but gimme a break huh? I was bored and didn''t really think about it. If we could include more info in our profiles, people wouldn''t have to ask these questions. I know that sort of detracts from the game development feel to the site but if it saves us from these kinds of posts (and ourselves, as apparent by me) then why not??
