I'm going to pick one of these up this week, I usually hate thermaltake designs because they look like a circus, but they have always made amazing cases for space and airflow. Check out the Tsunami I think the clean look is really nice. Any opinions on it or know of any better looking cases (with the same amount of space and properly built for good air flow before I drop $200 on it?

Heh, I saw the title of the thread and thought it was about Stevie Case. My bad.

Every time i see that HL2 case it looks better and better...

I really need to get a new case. I've currently got one like this one:
foo
Except mine is black instead of silver. The problem is, its too small, i can't fit a floppy disk drive and my GeForce 4 in at the same time, and its a bugger to find motherboards...

I want a full tower one with a window that i can tinker with...

I've got that one, I removed the power to the side fan because the LED's that were on it lit up my room at night too much when I'm trying to get to sleep, but then it started overheating, which is a bit odd coz most cases I imagine don't have a side fan and they're all fine. Is there a way to turn off the LED's w/o turning off the fan?

It's a really cool case though.

Get a fan without LEDs? You might be able to cut or unsolder the wires to the LEDs or something, i don't really know.

I have a bit of a heat problem with my case too. I've got the side fan (intake), and 2 outtake fans at the back, just below the PSU and next to the CPU.
My AMD 2600 runs at ~65 degrees C constantly in a fairly cool room.
Another reason i want a bigger case...

When I saw the 'thermaltake' link, I was expecting sheer hideousness, but that actually looks all right. Probably because it's a blatant rip off the Coolermaster Wavemaster[smile]

EDIT: I also quite like the Coolermaster Cavalier and the CM Stacker, although nowhere in the UK seems to have these yet.

Looks nice, although recently I've had bad experiences with thermaltake cases in initially putting the pc together inside of it(screwless!=compatibility) and heat issues. But who knows, maybe they got their act together on this one!

lol that was my intention so I'm glad it worked on at least one person.

Thanks for the links guys, I'm not really "in the know" when it comes to cases so I appreciate the help. The last thing I want to do is buy a case and swap the system over to it, just to realize it's a piece of junk.

And OMG Sandman I can't believe how much of a ripoff the design is from the CM.

I've got an Antec Sonata case

linky

its sexy in a sleek kinda way, and is perfectly silent. I also haven't had any trouble with fitting stuff inside, but I don't do a lot of work on it either.
