Acid Pro 4.0

My friend gave me a copy of Acid Pro 4.0 and I'm trying to learn how to use it. First of all, do I need a keyboard to use it? Can I make my own music without remixing previous songs? And where can I find a good tutorial on how to use Acid Pro 4.0? Thx for any help, --BioX

I'm not sure where you can find a tutorial for it, but I do know you don't need a keyboard to use it.

Acid Pro is a loop based music composition tool. You can either make your own loops (which is where the keyboard can come in as well as other instruments), or download them off the next. I personally subscribe to Computer Music magazine. They give you some free loops on the cd every month.

Just a side note, if your friend gave you a copy of Acid Pro 4, you are using illegal software. You can download a free version of Acid called Acid XPress from Sony Pictures instead of using a pirated version of software.
