I'm new to Java3D and so i need some help setting up my Java3D programs in Eclipse.. i was wondering if anyone can help me out?

Here's a little more info..

So far i've installed the Java 2 SDK and JRE and also Java3D onto my computer..

I created my poject and wrote the code of which Eclipse says is just fine and has no problems with.. I also imported all the External JARS for Java3D that i could find (and that the Java3D README file says that i need to import).. The program compiles without any problems whatsoever but when i try to run the program the applet window comes up and says "Applet failed to initialise" and then Eclipse comes up with a load of errors to do with "finding J3D in Java.something-or-other"..

Can anyone please help me out?

Could you give us at least some of the error messages rather than "something-or-other"? It may help us help you.

(I have not yet used J3D with Eclipse, so I'm not sure how much I can help, but others may be able to if you include a few more details).

just some ideas/questions...
do their applet demos work?
have you set your libraries to be used for compilation & for runtime?
are you only having problems with applets using j3d or also with any app?

Yeah sorry.. Here's the error's that come up when i run the program.. :

I haven't attempted running the demos yet but i don't think the problem is with my code, more of a problem with my setup..

Alternatively, you can use the -Djava.library.path= vm arg when you run from inside Eclipse. Each application you run has a configuration that can be accessed via the 'Run->Run...' menu. In the dialog that opens, select the application you want to modify in the left panel, click on the 'Arguments' tab in the right panel, and enter the Java command line args you want to use in the 'VM Arguments' text area. The other text area for command line args used by your app.
