Continued from http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=278463 so I dont get some offtopic/thread closing threats :) So the situation is this: the program runs fine on any computer I can get my hands on, but crashes on some other PCs... without a obvious reason, so the bug could be anywhere... so I dont really know what the problem is... I really dont know any other method to fix crashes, except run in debug mode, see where it crashes and just fix it. But I cant do it this time, since it doesnt crash on my computer. So what method could you suggest to fix bugs like that? And what could be the reason for such mysterious crashes?

I would suggest remote debugging if you can on the pc that fails.

Hmm, anything else? I dont think I can do that with my compiler (latest DevC++), or is there a way?

P.S. Can the debuging information for in the exe cause a crash? Should I always compile without it for running out of the debuger?

Replace all places you use arrays and char* with std::vector and std::string.
