Hi, Is there a way in DirectX of knowing that a particular Vertex3 would have been clipped by foreground meshes etc ? I have something I want to display in standard drawing mode (i.e. GDI+ in .net) and I've Projected the coordinates from the 3D model to screen space successfully and it all works fine, apart from the obvious fact that its not being clipped anymore - I knew this would happen but if theres a really easy way of telling that it would have been clipped in 3d space it would be quite useful. Thanks, Phillip Hamlyn

Do you mean it not being Z-Clipped/Buffered, or screen edge clipped?

Z-buffering's easy if you're rasterising yourself, I wouldn't know how to do it otherwise. Some DX stencil/Z buffer tweaking may help.

double.
