I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a copy for MSVC++ Pro for a decent price, that wasn't academic. I've been using MSVC at school and want to bring it home and start work on commercial software. Thanks

Well, depends.

Yopu know, you want to work on commercial software? Dont be a sissy - PAY. That simple. You want to earn money. You have to invest. Behh appy the stuff is so cheap - try opening a professional shop to repair cars for let's say 5000 USD - and for 5000 USD you can have all you need to program professionally.

NOW - how muh you poay is something to consider.

Have you considered joining the EMPOWER Program? Everything you need to run a small development shop, including MSDN Subscription, for about 400 USD a year, for up to two years.
