Hi, i've got 2 triangles, the second one as x-coords of his vertices bigger than the first ones of 20px, so it's on the right of it. How can see them correctly if i use D3DDEVTYPE_REF, while if i switch to D3DDEVTYPE_HAL i see the second one in wrong position, with a vertex very near to (0,0) point, while it's not there !!! Does REF/HAL setup influence vertex representation ??? In which way ? Bye

The REFerence device is an accurate implementation of the pipeline. HAL isn't. Make sure you set all the states you need before rendering, because drivers might not set them to their defaults correctly.

Ok, it seems to me that the problem regards vertex buffer creation flags: if i create it with D3DUSAGE_DYNAMIC in D3DDevice creation i have a wrong visualization ( triangle #2 in wrong position ) and a bad quality ( anti-aliased image ); if i delete that flag i have a correct visualization but a bad image quality ( aliased ); obioviusly REF + SOFTWARE_VERTEXPROCESSING does the trick, but i want to use D3DDEVTYPE_HAL + HARDWARE_VERTEXPROCESSING in D3DDevice creation....

What can i do ???

P.s.: i'm using a 9800 Pro 128 MB Memory
