Would anybody here know what the maximum transmitt power for the VHF band is here in Canada? I tried searching the CRTC site but it's a big mess. Thanks, Nick

How much you are allowed to transmit is dependant on a few different factors:
1. what band area you are transmitting on
2. what license you have
If you are transmitting in Amateur Radio bands then you have to abide by the regulations stated by the license you have (Basic or Advanced) if you are using off the shelf non-Ham equpment then i think current power limit is 2watts.
