missing desktop icon

you know the handy little icon you normally have on your start bar in the Quick Run menu which when you click on it will immediatley make your desktop appear? I lost it :/ the noes :/ any idea how to bring it back (on a win98 se computer - please don't derail the thread to a UPGRADE ALREADY thingie)

Hmm, not sure. But, try pressing [windowkey]+D for the same functionality.

Edit: Open notepad and put in this:

[Shell]Command=2IconFile=explorer.exe,3[Taskbar]Command=ToggleDesktop

Call it *.scf, and put it in
\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Here is a zip file with my link in it, but it's Windows 2000, so it might not work.

EDIT: Or do what Rhaal said :P
