Why can''t IE and Netscape see the import javax.swing.Timer It works OK in appletviewer but it doesn''t work in browsers. How can I fix this? Is there anything I should use instead of javax.swing.Timer? Gunnar Steinn

The timer is part of Swing, so this problem is already answered in the forum FAQ, more exactly on this page:

Just changed it from swing.timer to a thread and it''s much faster
