Hello, I just started using D3D 9 a few days ago, I'm trying to do transparent blits with surfaces. although I specify a colorkey, nothing happens, I read that UpdateSurface does not do colorkeying, however the surface has a colorkey member so there must be someway to do it.

IIRC, the color keying just makes the alpha values on the specified coloured pixels 0. You will have to set up your render states so that texture alpha is taken into account. Check the SDK for more info.

Kind regards.

Does this work with surfaces though?
