You mention adding to the model recently, does it now contain more triangles or textures? A hunch I suppose but I think you may be getting page tearing due to the graphics card refreshing faster than the monitor can handle. When you added to the model you made the graphics card work harder therefore slowing it down and reducing the tearing.
Good logic but that doesn't mean it's the right answer ;)
For a test you could try setting V-Sync on in the display options for the card or try using a model with significantly more triangles in it, say four times what the model currently has.

Flickering Triangles
I know not everyone will agree but I work on the school of thought that if you can't display it then it isn't worth working it out.
It means that I limit all of my games to 60fps and v-sync is always on my machines.
Good guess though.

Where is the triangles code placed, If you place it in certain places in the code it goes dodgy once almost the whole level disappeared, Im working with lesson 10 as well im doing mouse support differnt textures a hud and a croshair at the moment.Its really good to work with especially for newer peaple.
