I've completed a game in Dev-C++ using the Allegro game library. Which files are needed for someone else to play my game on his/her computer? My guess is: - the .exe file - alleg40.dll - all the .o files (don't know if these are necessary?) - Makefile.win (don't know if this is necessary?) - all the .bmp, .gif, etc. image files - all the .wav, .midi, etc. sound files Am I missing any files? Which ones are extraneous? Thanks.

The .o files are object files your compiler spits uot before your app gets linked. And as such are only necessary before your exe is produced. Makefile.win is used to tell dev-cpp howto build you project. Also you should make sure you are giving away your release version and not the debug one.

the .exe, the dll's and any resources you load at runtime (image files, sound files).

If they're compiled into the .exe, you don't need to include them.
