Hi everyone. Uh, both of you. I'm in Newport across the bridge from Dundee so I figured I was close enough to join this group. Just sayin' hi :).

You think with 300+ Games Tech students at Abertay and the multiple graphics researcha nd games companies around we could manage more than three people :P

There are people around from near here, but I don't know if andy-pandy is inviting anyone, or expecting them to join up :D.

btw, I'm going to be a short-term member because I'm heading down to edinburgh for uni in september, but I figured we might be doing something over the summer so I'd join up.

Hey guys.

I wasn't planning on being a pro-active group organiser, but since only GDNet+ members can create groups I decided to go ahead and make one myself for the benefit of other regular members in the area.

I'll look through our nearby members and send out some invitations.

Feel free to make any suggestions, and by all means if any of you would like to assume responsibility for the group I'll hand it over.

I've always wondered why there aren't more active members from Dundee, considering what you said Drazgal.

Also Drazgal, how did your presentation go on the 19th?

It didnt. I was called away for the last six weeks to care for an old school friend so I missed all exams/courseworks. What was it like?

Sorry to hear that.

It was ok, a bit disappointing. Apart from the masters and 3rd year students John was the only person who looked at each game. There was a guy from Real Time Worlds milling about apparently but I never saw him. It was interesting to see what everyone had been up to for the last 5 months though, and some of the games were great.

I didn't realise that non-gdnet plus members could sign up here.

Also, hello...

What a productive group we are.

We're relaxed. We don't feel the need to be shackled by conventions of "meetings" or indeed "doing anything".

I think it's quaint.

Hmm I forgot about this group :/

How is everyone?

I'm a couple of months away from finishing the Games Tech course at Abertay. After that I'll be let loose into society. Me and some guys from the course are entering the Dare to be Digital competition this summer and hopefully we'll get a chance to compete.

In other news, I think I need a drink too.
