When I do file i/o remotely to debug, it keep giving me file not found. However, if I run it locally, everything is fine. Is there something I need to set in the remote debugging settings? Can someone tell me?

If you use VC IDE remote debugger, you should make a share folder, such as Debug\. Fill up the Project/Settings/Debug/Remote executable and file name, in order that other machine can access this file. Select Build/Debugger Remote Connection... and set the correct remote machine name.
On the remote machine, run MSVCMON.exe to start the debugger server.
At last, begin debugging.

Create a shortcut for MSVCMON on your desktop. Open it''s properties and set the "Start In" path to the mapped network drive.

for example:
Compile machine: Share "C:\Game\Debug" as "DEBUG"
Remote(Run) machine: map drive "M:\" to compile machine share "DEBUG"
Set the "Start In" path to "M:\"

that''s it!
