I heard it was a pathetic excuse for a hurricane and that it was a let down.

well it will be at least a cat 3 at landfall.. thats no pathetic storm.. it was a cat 1 going over florida and killed 6 people.

You see, this is the problem with you Statesiders: you always buy everything in bulk.

I mean, sure, hurricanes are pretty to look at on satellite maps, and they make for cool "Outraged Nature"-type documentaries on Discovery Channel, but still: how many do you _need_ in one year, eh?

Why can't you be more like us Brits? We buy smaller, more sensible weather, but go for the big family size variety box, rather than just grabbing ten or twenty hurricanes off the shelf. It's why we talk so often about our weather: it's _interesting_.
