Getting started [update]

Ive started school. And i am taking vis basic.NET, although i dont care much for .NET, it doesnt hurt to take the class. The thing that sucks though, and is good at the same time, the books for the class havent come in yet, so until they do, we just sit in the class and do whatever we want until the class is over. The only problem is, we cant get on the computer.Its nice to be able to sleep for a whole period though. But i do hope the books will come in soon so i can start learning. Ok. You could start learning now by reading a good tutorial on the net.

I might or might not. After im done this im going to take jave. Then next year i am probably going to take AB Ap computer science as one of my courses.

Oh ok. Sounds good. I had a AP java in school and it was really fun.

Yeah, im also probably going to take a course in HTML and whatever other computer science courses they have.

Really, my school doesnt have a huge amount of courses. Theres visual basic and java, basic.NET, and then there is Ap computer science. I think there is other general programming courses, but i just dont about them.

I just went through another day of the class. We still dont have the books(coming on friday) but we still did some work with VB.NET. We learned some general stuff and then we learned how to make a hello whatever you enter program . You type something in the textbox and press start and it will say hello whatever you entered. Since we still dont have the books we didnt learn too much but it was still a pretty good class.

Awesome. Good to hear that your class is finally starting into stuff. VB was the first language I learned and a class that I'm really glad to have taken back in 10th grade.
