Long story short, last week I got switched into a PE class at my school (Technically called 'lifetime sports' and that class was supposed to be a slacker class with lots of field trips to bowling alleys and stuff, but doesnt look like that'll be happening..) The teacher is a Nazi. I swear, she must've been a concentration camp basketball coach. There are rumors that she has arm pit hair too. She claims to be from Europe and made it very apparent in the first day I had her for class that she was going to be very strict. Did I mention we have to run the mile every day? I know this isn't really a big deal for those track and xc runners here (or anyone else who is in OK shape,) but for someone who hasn't run any further than the distance from my computer to the fridge over the past two years, this obviously posed a problem for me when I had the class yesterday. I'm now suffering from delayed onset muscle soreness and I can't even walk without the support of a cardboard tube makeshift cane right now. ...Did I mention we had to play ultimate frisby for 80 minutes after the run and she'd dock us (grade) points if she caught us standing around instead of running and playing 100%? I've got the class again tomorrow. Any suggestions you may have for preparing my self (food, excersize, stretches?) for tomorrow's 100 minutes of torture? I'd hate to have a cardiac arrest or have my legs blow up or something out there... CLIFFS: *Nazi PE teacher from Europe makes us run non-stop for 100 minutes *24 hrs later, my legs don't agree with any form of physical activity (i.e. walking) *How can I prevent further pain (damage to the muscle tissue?)
