small problem

I had a bunch of files,..jpg's and wmp's. I downloaded FantasyDVD. A program that opens image files to play videos or pictures. Somehow all my picture and music files have become fantasyDVD file types. I had to use open with to make them open by WMP or paint again and whilst this works, they are still named FantasyDVD types. I unassociated them through FantasyDVD and then uninstalled FantasyDVD. Now i want to changemy file types back to jpg's and wma's. how can i do this? __ When i attempt to save an image file im viewing in firefox, it only gives the option to save it as a fantasydvd type. How can i revert to saving it as .jpg? (IE will still save as jpg/bmp,..but i really would like to have firefox fixed) I've uninstalled FF and reinstalled it. Still not fixed. plese help.

If the files were actually converted to a different file type, you will have to convert them back yourself with a program like photoshop. If just the extensions were changed, just manually change the extension and try opening the file and see if ti works. If the associations are wrong, right-click on the file, and select Open -> Choose Program and find the appropriate program from the list.
