I started with NeHe''s framework sometime back and am focussing on OGL and C++.My Win32 is basic. Suddenly I get this error when the application terminates. Everything runs fine but when i quit, i get the error. What causes this error(generally)?.

It sounds like the class name that you pass to the first parameter of UnregisterClass(...) is not the same the one you declared in the WNDCLASS structure during your window creation. Check to make sure that they both have the same string value.

I put my killGLwindow function after createGLwindow and now it works fine. Funny coz the prototypes were already defined in a header file.

I had this Problem as well and i noticed after a long thime of searching that a wild pointer was the reason for the error !
