Direct 3D 8.0 Tutorial Site

i am new to Direct3D. I have a pretty good understanding of OpenGL and Glide. Does anybody know of a site that has Direct3D 8.0 tutorials ? I need everything to be spelled out for me. Im looking for a site like Nehe.GameDev.net or VoodooExtreme.com/Glide3Tutorial. If any body knows of a good place it would REALLY help.
