Hey everyone! I have a slight problem with 3ds max 7. I am attempting to model the alamo and I was making the windows for the main gate via boolean (Subtraction A-B). Now for my windows I created a sepereate window 3d model and tried subtracting that from my main gate. Now, this worked the first two times, however the 3rd, 4th, and 5th windows didn't work right. Here is a photo of what I mean: http://photobucket.com/albums/b245/teamamplify/?action=view&current=alamohelp.jpg. Any suggestions? Patrick

i can't view the picture (i'm at school and they block the image for webhosting) however boolean does mess up every once in a while. i usually have it set to copy instead of move like the default, that way you always get a copy.
If you're doing boolean with multiple objects it used to be believed to be impossible to do it all at once but you can. simply select all the objects to be removed, say hide un selected, then slect one of the objects left, say trun into edit poly, attach, then attach all the objects, now you have one hueg object, use boolean with that and it will take that entire object away just as if you did them all individually. why do it this way? well it wil reduce your chances of your booleans messing up because you're booleaning less objects.
