As we're still in the startup phase I cannot say for sure but I'd estimate it to about 15 - 20 songs. We will certainly need a much bigger amount of sound effects but how many is hard to say.

Hi guys! I would really like to get my hands on the AI coding side of the project! Even if i never coded AI for videogames, i am currently doing ph.d. in robotics, where one has to deal with closely related subjects, like pathfinding, A*, action selection, trigger systems, tactical fighting and so on...

Let me know if u are interested!

Well, this story sounds to me very ordinary :[
maybe you can make an own idea ... i personally dislike games which tell the same story a thousand times ( e.g. ww2 shooter )

the story has to be pretty "thoughtfull" and have some turn arounds, create some atmosphere, so player gets an idea of the world ... not just "slay em, because otherwise they will kill you"

im referring to:
"Any feedback and questions are welcome."

We are always interested in people willing to help, I've been studying AI myself for a while so I think we could make a good cooperation. Send me an e-mail or add me on MSN if you'd like to know more about it.

Well, I'm aware of that this story might sound quite ordinary, though I'm willing to alter it a bit if anyone has a better idea but I want to keep the main concept. We will also try make the AI challenging and realistic to make the game more appealing but a compelling story is also a vital part of the game and that's what we're aiming for.

Well, not to be impolite, but as stated on our website, the full story and in-depth events are only for staff-members, and we'll build our way up, this is just a quite rough sketch of the main goal of our project..

Yes, I've read the design document and the description at the head of this thread doesn't do the story any justice.

Any artists interested in this project?
We now have a team consisting of several programmers, designers, writers and two composers but not even one single artist. If someone could help us create some models would be greatly appreciated.

I think the story is fine. Some of the best shooters have weak stories as long as the atmosphere fits and the gameplay builds from the story things tend to work out nicely. It's when you make a bland game with a bland story things go wrong (ex. Doom, Quake, id games in general [yes i have a bias])
