Raspberry vodka suggestions

Someone gave me a bottle of raspberry vodka. I tried drinking it straight (as I often do with normal vodka) and didn't really like it. I'm not really a cocktail kind of guy but I think this bottle would be best served in a fruity drink. I tried mixing with lemonade, against my better judgement, because that's what I had in the fridge, and the result wasn't stellar. So who knows of some nice recipes for cocktails that are made with raspberry vodka? It's Absolut Raspberri if that matters to anyone. shmoove

Something like a sprite I find often goes well. Perhaps a code red mountain dew.

I beleive there is a drink called the "secretary" that uses vodka, crystal light, and code red.

Anything that is naturally fruity and goes well with rasperry. Look around the store and see what rasperry is often mixed with in regular, non alcoholic drinks.

I don't know if others have had this but raspberry vodka makes me sick just smelling it. I'm normally a straight vodka drinker, but I find this stuff just unmistakably gross.

Awhile back, my roommate and I somehow ended up with a third of a bottle of raspberry vodka to finish off (a party with about 20 students who were visiting from Kyoto was involved). I tried many concoctions to make it palatable. I even tried cooking with it (by adding it to buttercream frosting in lieu of brandy). Nothing worked. In the end, I dumped it down the drain. There are good raspberry liqueurs out there, but raspberry vodka is not one of them.

Smirnoff raspberry isn't that bad. Just mix it with some cranberry/raspberry juice.

If you want some fruity and easy as hell, get UV blue for $9.

keep going, the flavor eventually goes away.

This thing came back to life?

Well, if anyone cares, I ended up mixing it with pommegranate juice and the result was pretty good (mostly because I love pommegranates and the taste of the juice took over the cocktail).
