Computer problems - need expert help

Hi, My computer is doing something bizarre... Whenever I press or hold any key on the keyboard, everything gets jittery (aka 2fps) and even the sound slows down/jittery. I have tried using another keyboard, no luck. This started after I put in a new video card and added a new harddrive and formatted my old drive/reinstalled windows. Which of these is the problem? What can I do to alleviate it? I got new video drivers but no help and service pack 2. Thanks!

Well that is a lot of stuff to do all at once. Good rule of thumb for the future is don't do that. Since you just installed windows I have to ask, did you install your Motherboard drivers?(thats probably not it though.)

I cant say I've ever heard of such a thing. May have to try and reinstall windows. You can also try and run a live linux disk just to make sure there isn't anything hardware related. Its probably Software isues though.
