OBB Class and World Transform

Hi All, I created an OBB class for collision checking, but then realized that the OBB (which is loaded in object space from my model file) needs to be transformed into world co-ordinates before it can be checked for collision. Is it normal to create a world-space OBB from the object-space OBB and then use that for collision detection? The only other thing I can think is to pass in the world scale/rotate/transform and having functions to return world versions of the center, extents and axis. Oh, and one last question. I imagine the center would need to be transformed by the entire world matrix, the extents by the world scale only, and the axis by the world rotation only. Since this is the case, I guess it's better to hold these seperately as opposed to just having a pre-computed matrix? Hope this makes sense. Thanks for any advice.
