Hi, I have been tasked with a presentation of the Issues of Design and Development of 3D Games. The presentation is aimed at year 2 university students. I come from a DVD / Video background. The presentation is to last 10minutes - so far I have: research/evidence originality of idea concept narrative target audience platform testing time budget software / hardware social - political - legal - cultural issues hci any more input would be valuable and or elaboration on the points above - thanks!

I would think about limiting the scope of the presentation. You could easily spend 10 minutes discussing a single issue.

I agree with the above post. The alternative is to aask for a bigger time slot.

I'm afraid the time slot is fixed at 10 minutes. I suppose they are trying to discover how much I can consisley pack into 10 minutes. I think i might just focus on 10 1 liners... an intro and an end...

Ten minutes is not alot of time, i'd aim for a maxium of 8 slides this gives you just over a minute for each slide. I'd go with quality over quantity. You want your presentation to be interesting therefore pick 5 key areas youd like to talk about and do them well.

Thats how I'd go about it.

Good Luck
