Within the past month, the number of indexed pages in Google on my site has gone down from 350 to 1. Is this happening to anyone else?

They can do whatever they want.

Ultimately it is their choice -- not yours -- to decide if they want to index any of your publicly-available content.

They have some fairly complex algorithms to determine what pages are important enough to be indexed and what isn't. One of them is undoubtedly how new the page is. If it is new, index it.

But when nobody bothers searching for your stuff, and it doesn't get updated, and it never gets linked to ... well, it only makes sense that their algorithms would drop it.

GoogleBot just isn't bot enough to conquer the entirety of the interwebs.
Chess is played by three people. Two people play the game; the third provides moral support for the pawns. The object of the game is to kill your opponent by flinging captured pieces at his head. Since the only piece that can be killed is a pawn, the two armies agree to meet in a pawn-infested area (or even a pawn shop) and kill as many pawns as possible in the crossfire. If the game goes on for an hour, one player may legally attempt to gouge out the other

I just noticed the exact same thing today.

Actualy, google still indexes the entirety of it.

But searching for terms on the pages will all of the sudden not return the ones that it did earlier. Searching my own name earlier would yield my profile, the news I posted and every thread I posted in on that site. Ontop of that my profile here and ICQ and a couple of other places. Now it yields only a year old thread from humblesiden, and a friends CMS system.

Google recently made some adjustments to their algorithms, these have been nicknamed "Big Daddy". It was an attempt to remove all the link farms, but unfortunately it has hit a lot of genuine sites really badly, with a lot of webmasters reporting their sites dissapearing from the listings.

Unfortunately there is nothing much you can do, other than ride it out and wait for google to fix the problems, whenever that may be.
