13 here:

Started programming at 10ish-11ish in C++.
I rock at math.
I suck at social studies (I really don't care, all I care is that I do my best in what benefits me, that is, math and science).
Umm... I rock at science too.

Umm... Umm... Yeah..

I'm 26. Started programming in GW-BASIC at age 9-10, then Q-BASIC (age 11-12), Pascal (age 12), Quake-C (age 18), regular C (age 19), C++/OpenGL on Win32 (age 21), PHP (age 24) and now doing C, Lua, Python on Linux. Oh, and there's about a dozen languages missing in that list that I learned on the side.

Pro:
I pick up languages fast
Jack-of-all-trades

Con:
I suck at math
I suck at shell scripting (but learning)

I believe this is accurate (if not, it's pretty close):
I started to program a little bit in VB when I was about 9. At about 10 or 11, I started learning C++ and Python and soon dropped VB completely. When I was 14, I started learning Java, Common Lisp, Scheme, Haskell and the general ideas behind stack-based languages (along with bits and pieces of other languages like Perl, Ruby, Q and OCaml). I recently turned 15 (my birthday is May 12) and I'm learning Icon and Unicon.

You should learn math. Not only is it veru useful, but it can be just as fun as any subject. That, or I'm just weird [grin].

Crikey!!! Is there anyone here that was born in the 70's? :)

Most of you weren't even around when Luke was fighting Darth Vader, or when Olivia Newton John was strutting her stuff on rollerskates looking so lovely. :)

They were defining moments in history.

Did some BASIC on really old hardware for a while when I was 10 or so...

Apple IIc.

Man, that was a cool system. :P

Nowadays I do what everyone does...
C++
(On more modern hardware of course...)

BASIC was fun while it lasted but eh... it's just not enough.
Over the years I went from that to VB, C, then C++ (pretty much... had a few intermediate phases but nothing serious.)

Let's see... I'm 421, according to my ID, but that might just be smudged ink. :D
