Team name: Fusion Games Project name: Right now its known as 'Containment'. That may be the final name. Brief description: This is the teaser I wrote for my site. The title as of right now is 'Containment' It takes place about 20 or 30 years after the present (now). World War 3 has come about and the United States is loosing. All other countries are bring out more powerful armies and bombs. The United States has had a bomb in development since near 2011, but has yet to test it. They decide they need to launch it before they loose the war. Unfortunately, the aircraft transporting the bomb was not correct preped and the aircraft looses control. The aircraft crashes into a United States owned island in the North East. The island was home to a large governmental city and thousands of people. The bomb exploded before the crash when it fell from the aircraft. This bomb was a genetic disassembling bomb, meant to quickly kill any human within its range. The bomb did kill everyone, they just didn't stay dead. NOTE: This is the very first teaser, with little of the full script wrote. Things will change. It should be in 3rd person (theres way to many FPS's) and 3D action type game. It may turn more survival horror, but with more bullets. EDIT: The game is going to be fully 3rd Person Shooter/Horror. And if you read the bottom of the teaser, "things will change", they have. I will be putting a new teaser up on the forums soon. Look forward to it ;) . Target aim: Don't really know. Most likely a freebie game. If it turns out decent, expansion packs could be made and sold to compensate the team. Compensation: For initial game, nothing. Just for fun. If its any good expansions can be made. Technology: Windows XP (DirectX 9), C Plus Plus, no other tools have been found. Talent needed: I have no team right now. I need Programmers, Artists, Writers, the hole 9 yards. I knwo I'm asking a lot, but most of my friends don't know how to do anything or are entirely to lazy. EDIT: Whats still needed: Sound Effects Engineer - Doesn't need to solely do sound effects, though. (can make or "find" sound effects for guns, fire, big booms, etc.) Programmers - A.I., Gameplay, Sound, Physics, Network, and any other. Writers - This game is meant to have a good story, and just 2 writers can't really cut it. (Need to actually know what they're writing and not want to put aliens and dinosaurs in) Designers - Work out gameplay, see everything works out correctly Artists - Someone who can draw up concepts, reference art is prefered (to see how you draw) Modelers - Must be able to make decent quality models and do it at a somewhat fast manner (fast doesn't mean a day, week, possible month; it means don't take a year on one guy's toenail) Level Designer and Modeller - Design and create the levels and everything on the levels. Team structure: Like I said, no team. I'm writing the story, designing gameplay and doing Art (I have no scanner or camera so my work is basically wasted). I have very little programming experience but I'm taking a class next year, that'll add me as a programmer. EDIT: The Team currently has: 1 Writer/Designer:Arden/nOObie dev 1 Artist/Writer:nOObie dev Website: Its more of a forum, only has about 48 hours of work put into, sorry if it out of the ordinary (or weird): http://fusion.bbfun.com/fusion.html I can't find a host that stays up very long, they always crash on me (so if you can host, I'm looking for one of them too ;) ) EDIT: I have a friend building a website, but I'll still need a webmaster. My friend may or may not finish it, as he has multiple sites he runs, So I'm still looking for anyone willing to build a site. Contacts: The link above: http://fusion.bbfun.com/fusion.html is my forum. My email is: fusiongamestudio@gmail.com. Additional Info: If you wish to contact me, the best way is on my forum or this one, I normally don't respond to emails, but I'll check 'em frequently. Thanks for even considering helping. The story's completed and is going by my current team now, I have gotten feedback and I'm adding in more things to 'keep you on your toes' so-to-speak. [Edited by - Adren on July 2, 2006 11:04:07 PM]
