I've just uninstalled IE7 Beta so i can debug some &#106avascript, i rebooted as asked and now whenever type a URL and hit enter in IE6, it opens up the page in Firefox. Has anyone else heard of this? Dave

sounds like its forwarding pages to your default browser.... weird

Yes, I have the same problem. Changing the default browser doesn't help. I use the "view this page in IE" extension as a workaround.

Cool, I might try temporarily installing IE7 :)
I wish I could make the same happen with Windows Media Player and MPC/VLC!

I had this same problem after I uninstalled the IE7 beta. I had to remove a registry key it had left in there:


To address this issue locate and delete this entire key from the registry of the affected machine: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{c90250f3-4d7d-4991-9b69-a5c5bc1c2ae6}.
