Hi there! I´m new to mobile programming and starting with J2ME. I decided not to use Sun´s Wireless Toolkit for now, so I can learn how to jar and preverify files properly. So I installed JDK and downloaded MIDP and CLDC. My javac compiler worked after I set the path variable so I can call it through the MSDOS prompt, and I thought doing the same for MIDP would make it work (I went to Start->Control Panel->System->Advanced, clicked on 'Environment variables' and created a new variable named midp that has a path C:\j2me\midp2.0fcs\bin). However when I call midp through the prompt nothing happens. My CLDC folder is under the same directory as the midp2.0fcs folder, named j2me. Do I have to install CLDC too or something? If so, how can I do it? Thanks in advance, Carol.
