Hi I’m working on a third person game in the vein of Mario 64. I read an article recently on the camera system - an appendix in Game Programming Gems 2. The problem is that I no longer have the book (it was from my universities library and my local library doesn’t stock it).I cant find the article anywhere on the net either. Being broke I can’t afford to buy the book for just one appendix. So is there anyone with this book that can help me out? or does anyone know where i can access the article online?

The googlenet is full of tutorial's on them!

Mine is currently at home, but I kind of remember there being something about springs in there? I can't really remember...

Sorry =\ Pester me, and I should check it out when I get home in a couple days.

yeah its a quaterion based camera with springs ive done most of it but there was some specific stuff in this article about how to animate/ rotate the character. Also i want my system to be as close to Mario as possible so i need this article in particular.

just to clarify, the article is:

Classic Super Mario 64 Third-Person Control and Animation
by Steve Rabin (Nintendo of America)
