So I fired up my laptop and promptly noticed something was amiss when I started firefox so I could download opera and everything was, well, very very broken. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting This is on the classic gamedev theme, but all the other themes render the same, save for the differing buttons. The same thing happens on google, and every other site on the internet, local network, saved to the harddrive, and any other way of seeing a site I've come up with. So... what broke?

just switched to old theme, works fine for me in IE... did they change anything?

switch to IE!

serious note, click control refresh or clear cache, probably a bad / incomplete css file or other thing, the site works fine for me, so I guess you just had a bad load.

Maybe a CSS problem in your browser? Or Colors is disabled. I have the prefbar plugin in Firefox, and if I turn off the Colors checkbox, gamedev looks just like in your screenshot.

Have you checked your extensions (manually by looking at your extensions folder) and run a spyware checker? You could have a relatively benign Firefox XPI trojan.

Actually, that happens to me when gamedev is on one of the HTTP 500 frenzies. Basically, I might be lucky enough to get the page to download, but the css file gives a 500 and then the page is rendered without the stylesheet. It looks horrible that way.

Not as pretty, but usable, which is why we love style sheets. [smile]

Tried both, the only thing installed as an extension is google toolbar, and all its settings are perfectly normal.

I thought it was CSS for a while as well, but even when I go to a non-CSS enabled site I get the same thing. As far as disabling colours, I don't have anything installed that would cause that.
