Okay, so my GF just got a cat and now we need a name. I wanted to name her Misty but she says it sounds like a stripper name. Some feedback on that would be nice too. However I think any name would be better than "Cranberry", yuck. I mean if it had to be a berry why not "Strawberry"? Anyway if Misty's not an option I was thinking maybe something from mythology, all of my dogs already have names from SF and Fantasy novels so I don't really want to repeat that. So what do you think this looks like? BTW "Kuato" is not an option.

Tabbitha.

Otherwise... Erm... Blodeuyn. You can call her blod for short.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.

how about "La Gato del Diablo" or one of my game handles "Mistress Grimsword"

Grimsword was the kind of name of I was trying to avoid.

Speaking of mythology, there is Bast, the Egyptian cat goddess of protection. Some variations of spelling might help: Bastet, Ubasti, and Pasht.

The cat's already naked.

I'd name it "dog" and then get a puppy and name it "cat".

It's perfectly obvious that there's only one appropriate name.

Steve Irwin.

How about Interceptor? It's the name of Shadow's dog in Final Fantasy VI. Why not for a cat? :P

Or Meowth :p

Or if you're going to go that route... you could name it 'Crikey'. :P

How about something like "Bloody", "Retarted" or "Stupid". Chances are, you will end up calling it one of those sooner or later[rolleyes].

Or better yet - pick a common name like "Mike" or "Jim". That way it confuses everyone you talk to about someone/something named "Mike" who scratches your furniture.
