I've never had this before with usb devices. I'm attempting to get my Belkin Wireless G Network Adaptor to work. I have downloaded and installed the driver, the correct one, i have read the model number from the back and it is definately the correct driver. At the end of the device install wizard that you get when u plug it into a new slot it says that it cannot start (code 10). Any idea why i might be getting this and how i get rid of it. I have tried: - reinstallation, many times - restarting my laptop I thought it might have something to do with a conflict with the built in wireless G reciever i have, but it doesnt work with that turned off. Any ideas? Dave

If you haven't already I would always suggest FULLY removing and reinstalling the device. Sometimes just reinstalling over the top is not enough. I would also check the cable (if there is one!), as I have known USB devices be incredibly picky with some cables. There is always a chance the fault is a hardware fault with the device itself, so I would test the device on someone elses machine if possible, see if the same problem occurs.

I'll see if I can think of anything else that might be causing it, but that's what I'd start off with anyhoo!

HTH,

Steve
