hi
i love writing but english, is not my father tongue. but you want scrept, i do it. internet me. ideas galore.

A singer is not paid for her choice of songs, but for the years she spent learning to use her voice.

A painter is not paid for his choice of subject, but for the years he spent learning how to use his painting tools.

A writer is not paid for his ideas, but for the years he spent honing and practicing his writing skills.

It's craftsmanship people pay for. Art is always free.

Ideas are always free, for ideas are art, not craft. Ideas require no skill, no talent, no years of practice. Your ideas are worth nothing without craftsmanship.

I somehow disagree on that. I think that you don't need experience to set up a good game or think of a nice concept, as long as you actually THINK, wich has proven to be very hard for some ppl...

Game DESIGN, is just that. It takes a tremendous amount of knowledge and know how and reference, and, yes, experience, to make a successful game. The same for thinking up 'concepts.' Everyone has 'concepts,' you must be able to show you understand your concepts, plan out your concepts, fully and thoroughly design your concepts, or else your concepts are worthless. stimarco is generally correct in what he says (outside of pop culture (but often inside the mainstream) there are plenty of exceptions that I'd be careful to draw those distinctions, and I wouldn't call ideas art. Ideas would be a very basic design, craft is actually closer to art)... there is a reason so many 'revolutionary projects' are failures, there are a reason so many 'revolutionary ideas' are hacks or don't hold up under inspection or thorough design. Even experienced people make that mistake. Knowing good game design, feasible game design, just as creating good, interesting stories, requires years of learning and yes, experience.

Borkhan, if you want a clearer understanding of how value-less ideas themselves are, hang around the Buisness forum here. You'll get an idea very quickly.

All someone has to do is read my recruitment thread, which you got locked with your inability to behave civilly, and perhaps people will have a different idea of working with you. (http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=416623)
