Hi, Google pages uses a system where you can design a website in your browser and choose some templates and stuff. It's as if it's only for very limited webpages. However, I'm thinking whether it could be possible to use google pages to host games and projects of mine. In a more professional style. Do you think google pages can be used for something like that, or do you consider it limited to 1-page "personal home pages"? Do you think google pages will stay existing and stay somewhat the same as it is now? Most free webhosting services tend to change into paying ones, or into ones that get more and more banners, after a few months.

Right now I am finding googlepages a bit limited in what I can do with it. I would like to be able to do some home grown ASP.Net stuff. You can check out what I have done with it. See my signature. I am sure it would work fine for hosting a simple game related website. Mind you, it really depends on what you want to do with it.

Google pages doesn't have the flexibility for amazingly complex websites, but it's definitely good enough for a small website. I wouldn't worry about degenerating into another ad filled geocities considering how much money Google has at the moment.

Also, 100MB of free online space! Shame you can't upload via FTP or something, but hey, it's still free.

It depends how big your game is. I have uploaded a 10MB file, but it b0rked at an 18MB one. I don't know whereabouts the cutoff in between might be.
