It would be handy to have a feature which allows a user to save a post draft, and later return to it. For example, I start a new post in a given forum, type for 15 minutes, then something takes my attention away from the site. I click on a "Save Post Draft" button, and the post is saved in a personal area. Later in the day I go to my drafts, and can continue editing and later posting them, or discard them entirely. The drafts could expire 7 days after saving, to clean up used space. Also, the forum to which the draft is to be posted, should be configurable, so newbies folks have a chance at redemption from sending drafts to the wrong forum. :)

You have some space for text in your "notepad" near the end of the control panel page. That's what I would use anyway.

I guess this might work well implemented as "Send to Notepad" and "Insert from Notepad" buttons on the post editing screen.
